ANC Grants

Summary

The Advisory Neighborhood Commission 5C annually makes provision within its budget to provide limited financial support for projects deemed beneficial to the communities within the commissions’ boundaries. The grant amounts are subject to availability. The commission determines worthiness, and award amount regardless of requested amount. ANC 5C divides its grant funding equally among the seven single member districts, and one additional covering the full commission area distinct from the SMD allocations. Grants occur in compliance with DC Code, ANC regulations, and any other applicable law. Accordingly, ANC 5C grants may not duplicate services available through, or that performed by the Government of the District of Columbia. A written application is required for consideration.
