Today, November 19, 2022, at 10 am, the community came together at the Grace Covenant Church, 3100 18th Street NE, to engage MPD Inspector Altieri, MPD Community Outreach Team, DPW, CSOSA, DC-DOH, Council member Duffie’s office, the 5C01 Commissioner Elect, and community members engaged in an informative walk along 18th St NE, from 3100 18th St to 18th & Franklin St NE. We discussed MPD, 5D CAC, MPD Community Engagement Academy, traffic, trash, rodent control, prostitution hot spots, bike lanes, etc. We also focused on the nuisance issues, and public space. Most importantly this set into motion warm and well receive community engagement with MPD.
