Today, 11/21/2022 Commissioners Lauren Rogers (5C02) and Jeremiah Montague Jr (5C07) did an onsite survey of the drainage issues presented by constituents at the Wednesday 11/16/2022 ANC meeting. This involves areas surrounding new development at 2425 20th St NE. The commissioners walked the complete triangular property identifying all catch basins, storm manholes, and curb placements for discussion of ground water movement originating high on the bluff near Model Cities (20th, Queens Chapel Road & Evarts Streets NE). Any solution falls outside the stormwater management plan for the property, thus, must involve DDOT, DOEE, and DC Water.
